It should come as no surprise to anyone that we love shooting engagement sessions at Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows and when it came to scheduling Felipe + Kaylee’s session we could think of no better location than the stunning mountain backdrop of Pitt Lake. The lighting is second to none, the views at Pitt Lake are truly unique, and without question Pitt Meadows is home to one of our favourite stretches of empty roadway. There really is no location like it and for that reason its at the top of our list.

Josip + Katelin’s Pitt Lake engagement was one of the most memorable Pitt Meadows sessions we have ever photographed. Pitt Meadows is home to so many beautiful views but none more special than those of the mountains along the dykes. They have quickly become one of our favourite areas to explore for engagement sessions.

This season we have been so fortunate to take a number of adventures out of the city to some new locations for work including many in the interior. Along with weddings in both Penticton and Nelson (and a short detour to Banff just to look at the mountains), we were lucky enough to have travelled to Kelowna to celebrate Mark + Rachael's engagement.

Alex + Charisse. What more could we possibly ask for in clients than everything that these two bring to the table? They have the most authentic connection to one another - one that the camera loves; they are practically models (seriously, just look at them); they embraced Mother Nature and all she brought for their session including a little rain, some snow, wind and of course chilly temperatures; and they are planning a beautiful Okanagan wedding which basically means not only do we get to photograph their beautiful faces with a stunning backdrop, but we get to do it while touring wineries - yes please! Most of all we are lucky to call them both friends and we are truly so honoured to be celebrating with them and their families this season.
