It should come as no surprise to anyone that we love shooting engagement sessions at Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows, and when it came to scheduling Felipe + Kaylee’s session we could think of no better location than the stunning mountain backdrop of Pitt Lake. The lighting is second to none, the views at Pitt Lake are truly unique, and without question Pitt Meadows is home to one of our favourite stretches of empty roadway. There really is no location like it and for that reason its at the top of our list.
Felipe + Kaylee have a connection with one another that is like nothing we have ever seen before. They are so in love with one another and for us that is what engagement sessions are all about. There was no posing or forced interactions, no awkward moments or stale images. Every single frame we captured of them is special and their session was an actual dream to process. We ran around our favourite stretch of dyke and toured the tall grass at the base of the stunning mountain view. We concluded their session with the sun falling behind the mountain and it was pure magic.
We are lucky to be photographing Felipe + Kaylee’s wedding this month and we are so excited to be returning to Pitt Meadows to capture them dressed in their best.
