Alex + Charisse. What more could we possibly ask for in clients than everything that these two bring to the table? They have the most authentic connection to one another - one that the camera loves; they are practically models (seriously, just look at them); they embraced Mother Nature and all she brought for their session including a little rain, some snow, wind and of course chilly temperatures; and they are planning a beautiful Okanagan wedding which basically means not only do we get to photograph their beautiful faces with a stunning backdrop, but we get to do it while touring wineries - yes please! Most of all we are lucky to call them both friends and we are truly so honoured to be celebrating with them and their families this season.
Mother Nature played a few games with us while we attempted to schedule an engagement session for these two throughout the fall months. After a couple of canceled dates due to less than desirable weather the only clear solution was the schedule an entire weekend away on the sunshine coast where we photographed over the better half of two days, played cards, enjoyed some delicious wine and feasted on some tasty food. To put things simply, they had to put up with us both and our cameras for an entire weekend (give them an award).
We honestly cannot even formulate words that could possibly explain how excited we are to be joining these two at their wedding. Our 2018 season is jam packed with clients like Alex + Charisse that inspire us to be better people.
Guys, thank you so much for allowing us to play a role in your day and for providing us with the platform to document your story. We cannot wait to join you both, and we are literally counting down the days until we get to pack up our car and hop on the road to the land of wineries and beautiful wedding festivities.
