There are few wedding venues in Vancouver that are as beautiful and historic as the Hart House Restaurant, and while we have visited this beautiful space many times before, this beautiful fall and modern wedding was truly one of the most beautiful.

We have been photographing weddings and celebrations for many years, but this beautifully intimate, ritualistic and spiritual wedding on Bowen Island was truly a once in a lifetime day for us in the world of Vancouver Wedding Photography.

We are blessed to connect with couples and document their stories at so many incredibly unique and special venues. In 2020 we watched as our couples braved a pandemic and were forced to reimagine their wedding days in a new light. This reimagined season of celebrations allowed us to photograph in forests, at private cabins, up mountains and at so many other new and exciting locations, but it was our time with Scott + Melissa at their Swaneset Bay Resort Wedding that stole our hearts as being easily one of the most incredibly special wedding days we have ever had the honour to help document.

In a year filled with so much uncertainly, countless unknowns and endless struggle, the 2020 Vancouver Wedding Photography season brought us what we can only describe as being an entire year of beautiful celebrations, and without a doubt served as a reminder that the best weddings are not those with the largest guest lists.

There are few venues as beautiful for weddings than the Hart House Restaurant located in Burnaby’s Deer Lake Park, and our time celebrating Brent + Ivonne was quite possibly the most beautifully detailed micro wedding we could have ever asked for at this stunning venue.

The 2020 Vancouver wedding season will be forever known as the season of intimate celebrations, and this intimately stunning Lighthouse Park vow renewal with Katy + Caolan was everything we needed to remind us that despite restrictions and obstacles, love will always win.

2019 was without question the best year we could have ever hoped for in the wedding photography industry, and taking the time to relive and review each and every moment has been like nothing we can articulate into words. This past year took us to new heights and allowed us to grow our business in a direction we truly never thought possible.
