There are no shortage of unique venues in Vancouver to consider when hosting a wedding, but very few are more unique and special than the Hanger Venue in Abbotsford.
There are few venues as special as Brix and Mortar in the heart of Yaletown in the middle of downtown Vancouver, and this beautiful and modern black tie wedding might just be our favourite one we have ever photographed in that incredible space. It was love at first sight for us when we first sat down and zoomed with Peter and Adanma. Their love for one another is second to none, their energy is unmatched and their effortless ease towards life is something we have never seen before. Never have we been so fortunate to work along side such warm and beautiful souls, and this wedding was truly one that we will never ever forget.
An intimate and private wedding in the fall on the beach at the Wickaninnish inn in Tofino BC. This LGBTQ trans wedding was beautifully emotional, quintessentially west coast and wonderfully unique. A first look in the private forest clearing and portraits on the rocks overlooking the ocean on Chesterman Beach in Tofino.

Whimsical and bohemian backyard wedding inspiration in the Fraser Valley. This summertime bohemian backyard wedding showcased jewel toned dresses, bohemian decor and wild floral details.
One of the biggest blessings of being a wedding photographer in Vancouver, is the endless opportunities we are given to document couples in beautifully unique venues throughout the city, and most unique venue of all might be The Permanent Venue in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Located in the middle of historic downtown Vancouver, this old bank building is the perfect spot to host stylish and intimate weddings. Dripping with charm and character, the Permanent Venue is easily one of our all time favourite venues that we have ever visited for weddings in Vancouver.

The Pipe shop Venue in North Vancouver is the perfect space to bring a wedding vision to life. The tall ceilings, natural light, massive space, modern rustic aesthetic and central location make it one of the most sought after venues in their entire lower mainland.
This romantic, modern, beautifully emotional and detail oriented, sunset wedding at North Vancouver’s Wallace Venue was easily one of the most stunning wedding days we have ever photographed here at Isle + Oak. The Wallace Venue in North Vancouver is the perfect location to host a wedding day. The beautifully industrial, yet innately modern aesthetic of the space beautifully compliments any soft details with it’s stunning natural light. The mixture of outdoor and indoor space allows for the most incredible flow of a wedding day and we can honestly say there was no better location for C + K to host their guests.
This beautifully rainy, modern and stunning fall wedding at the Loft at Earls Yaletown in Vancouver BC is proof that it truly is good luck to see a few rain clouds during a wedding day, and that embracing Plan B is nothing to be upset about. We would be lying if we said we never wished for clear skies and warm weather when we show up to photograph a wedding. The truth is, there are a lot of wonderful things about beautiful weather, but this day is the reminder we needed to embrace the elements and trust our creative approach when finding beauty and magic on a rainy wedding day in the heart of Vancouver.
