Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish will forever be a venue that we will look forward to visiting and photographing at. Over the years we have had the pleasure of shooting at some pretty amazing venues around Vancouver, BC, and while it is hard to select a 'favourite' out of them all there have definitely been a handful that will forever stand out as being truly unique. If you like stunning mountain views, dramatic scenery and beautiful greenery, Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish is the venue for you! To put it simple, its fricken amazing up there and if you are planning on getting married up that gondola please give us a call! It is truly a gem in the world of Vancouver wedding photography.
David and Esther planned a day that we are still talking about today as being so unbelievably special and truly their own. They opted for something more personal and more their style: a smaller, mid-day intimate reception with their closest family and friends in front of arguably the most stunning backdrop you could ever hope for. It was truly the most special day and we are so grateful to have played a role. Each little element of the day was thoughtful and so personal. They exchanged the gift of words with one another prior to the ceremony (seriously guys, so special) and they opted to celebrate the entire day with just one another by their side instead of a large bridal party. Being in attendance for this one was truly memorable.
After their ceremony and lunchtime reception, we spent some time touring the grounds around the gondola. We ventured through the trees and over the suspension bridge and every moment was just perfect. The cherry on top of their perfect day was that Mother Nature held off to the very last moment before heading back down the gondola.
Guys, thank you so much for allowing us to play a role in your day. We will never forget our time with you and we wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
