Ryan + Kelsey were married on a beautiful day at UBC Boathouse in Vancouver, BC. What can we even begin to say about these two and their story?
Ryan + Kelsey are wonderfully kind and open humans. Working along side them both over the course of their engagement and their wedding was without question the greatest honour. Getting to know their families and celebrating with them all is something we wont forget. Ryan + Kelsey have a connection that is truly authentic. Lets be honest, that is a photographer's DREAM and the result of their long relationship spanning over many, many years.
Their wedding day began on a sunny Saturday with some quiet getting ready moments in their family home. After a memorable first look (obviously including the fur babies) we made our way to the docks in Rocky Point Park, Port Moody for some bridal party shots before a refreshing stop at a local brewery. Thanks Moody Ales as always for the incredible beer! Before making it to the venue for their wedding, we made a quick stop at Ryan's firehall for the last handful of portraits before the ceremony. They said 'I do' on the docks overlooking the water at one of our new favourite wedding venues, UBC Boathouse (a dream venue to shoot at for every Vancouver Wedding Photographer). With the sun beginning to slowly fall, the light on the water was breathtaking, which perfectly complimented their personalized ceremony. The ceremony lead to the reception where we listened to some unbelievable speeches, witnessed an impromptu performance of Les Mis (courtesy of their talented friends from school) and last but certainly not least a live performance from Mr. Nearly Neil. What else can we possibly say but...

When we look back at the incredible clients we are fortunate to work with and all the stories we help document, we will truly never forget this one. Ryan + Kelsey, thank you SO MUCH from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to play a role in your day. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your honest and real connection. We had the most amazing time with you both!
