TJ + Martha were married in beautiful Nanaimo BC at the absolutely stunning Neck Point. How can we even begin to express how we feel about the opportunity to connect with these two? Here are two human beings that were truly meant to find one another in life. They have endless love for each other and documenting their day was without question one of the most memorable experiences of our year. Not to mention they are two of the most open, heart warming and hilarious humans and we are now the lucky ones who get to call them our friends.
Their wedding began on a quiet and beautiful morning this past September. We love spending an entire day with our clients and with these two that was no exception. We were fortunate to spend some pre-wedding time with both the ladies and the gents, and without question our cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing with them all morning long. Off to the ceremony we went where TJ+ Martha said 'I do' in front of their friends and family as their witnesses. What an experience it was to listen to these two read their vows to one another. We attend a lot of weddings and each ceremony is truly unique and individual; however, their vows really spoke to us. There was not one single dry eye in the house when these two were finished regaling everyone present with reason after reason why their love for one another was second to none. We just love them both.
They said 'I do' at beautiful Neck Point in Nanaimo. It was our first wedding there and we were immediately drawn to the stunning water views and surrounding greenery. We can honestly say that there was truly no better venue to represent TJ + Martha and what they hold most important in their lives. This adventurous, free spirited couple was right at home in front of this absolutely stunning backdrop. After bridal party photos at the venue (including some adventurous rock climbing at the water's edge) we made our way to Longwood for a refreshing pre-reception drink where the happy couple even posed for a few photos at the very spot they first laid eyes on one another. Photographs in the place they first met, what more could we ever ask for!
Their reception was of course nothing short of perfect. We spent the night documenting the laughter and happy expressions of friends and family. Their night was filled with delicious food and amazing dancing. The perfect way to conclude the perfect day with these two.
TJ + Martha, thank you much from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to play a role in your day and for allowing us to celebrate alongside your friends and family. You both mean the world to us and we cannot wait to see what the world has in store for your journey together. Thank you for your trust, your friendship and your endless laughter.
