The past two years have been a complete whirlwind. We have been afforded the opportunity to meet, connect and work with so many incredible people. We feel that we have grown and learned so much along the way. Above everything else, we have learned that the relationships we form with our clients is something to be cherished. The lessons we have learned have taught us that perspective and appreciation for where we have come from are something not to be forgotten.
Before we were Isle + Oak we were dreamers who very much wanted to venture down the path of professional photography. A path that to many, including us at times, appeared unachievable and impossible. If not for the people in our lives that gave their support and encouragement, we very much doubt that we could have ever achieved a fraction of the things that we are most proud of today. It is the people in our lives like Amanda that gave us support and encouragement when nobody else did. For that, we are forever grateful.
We are lucky to call Amanda a friend and so honoured at the opportunity to celebrate along side her and Jeff on their big day in a couple weeks. For their engagement session, we ventured down Barnet Marine Park in Port Moody, a place they have visited throughout their relationship. We took a stroll down the beach near the water and took in the view as the setting sun began to fall. Evening sessions have quickly become a staple for us because the light is really beyond compare.
Its hard to believe that in a short handful of days we will be photographing these two as they say 'I do' before their friends and family and we cannot wait! Congratulations you two!
